History
Peter Thompson Architects is an architecture, design and project management practice that was founded by Principal Architect Peter John Thompson in 1976. A practice grew in size and structure to a point where it became a group of mature professionals located in two offices. This practice’s focus has been on all aspects of commercial & domestic architecture including design, documentation and project management, competent in accommodation, hospitality, health care, aged care projects and all ranges of residential projects. Our Melbourne based practice is managed by Peter Thompson and our Sydney associate practice is managed by Anthony Kelly. Our offices comprise of award winning architects, designers and draftsmen with vast, and ever increasing knowledge base. The Melbourne office is also a multi-service operation, working in house along side a Building Surveyor, Structural Engineer and a Land Surveyor.
