Description:

Peter Thompson Architects as the permanent YMCA Camps group architect was engaged to design and manage the building of an eighty bed accommodation and dining hall facility for the Department of Sports and Recreation, (in conjunction with the YMCA). The accommodation was in the form of a number of 4 bed cabins with adjoining en-suites. Additionally PTA have been responsible for the redesign of nearly all the buildings on the camp ensuring they remain current and of the highest standard, Universal access has been of prime importance when master planning access paths and activities around the camp

3.5 million dollars

 

        Role               

The role of Peter Thompson Architects in the Lady Northcote Recreation Camp project was as design Architect, Interior Architect and as the Project Manager.

April 2005 with other works ongoing.
